Summer is the second biggest season to send greeting cards in Japan. If you have a 3D printer, there is a unique website “3D Print Summer Greeting Card”, you can download Japanese fan 3D data and greeting card template that fits into the fan frame. Choices of fan frame are all traditional Japanese patterns, such as Seigaiha(waves in blue ocean), Shippou(cloisonne), and Ichimatsumon(checkered). The website shows directions to ship fans by regular post office service.
